Be active and balanced at the U

You’ve heard it all before: Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Staying physically active lowers the risk of health problems, builds strength, boosts energy and reduces stress. But none of that means anything if you hate exercising. Luckily, the U offers a wide range of non-credit fitness classes. You can try different ones until you find the one that you love! Hate jogging? Try golf! Pickleball put you in a pickle? Change it up by fencing! With full and half-semester classes there’s no reason not to get more active.

Everyone 18 and over is welcome to register for Academic Noncredit fitness classes. Many classes fill early, avoid disappointment by registering now! Classes begin Monday, Jan. 8!

For course descriptions and to register, visit continue.utah.edu/fitness or 801-581-6461

Eligible employees may apply for the tuition reduction discount each term through HR.

*Please note: Yoga Teacher Training classes are not eligible for the University of Utah’s employee tuition reduction or emeritus discount benefit.
