Students can apply for the Fall 2023 – Spring 2024 USHE Campus Safety and Equity Advisory Council. For the past two years, this important body has provided feedback on the topics that impact students’ well-being in postsecondary education; this feedback, in turn, helps inform the Utah Board of Higher Education, the Commissioner’s Office, and institutional stakeholders in their decision-making processes.

This year, the council will be condensed to eight members (one student from each degree-granting USHE institution) and will serve for one year. The council has vacant council positions for Salt Lake Community College, Snow College, the University of Utah, and Utah Tech University.
