A culture of campus wellness

In an effort to more accurately reflect its mission and services, the Center for Student Wellness is changing its name to the Center for Campus Wellness (CCW), effective June 1, 2023. The center provides holistic and inclusive programs that center on wellness, safety, and healing. They offer wellness coaching, HIV/STI testing, victim-survivor advocacy, workshops and training, and more.

Contrary to popular belief, these services are not only for students.

“Our name has led a lot of people to think we only serve students on our campus, but we offer valuable and important workshops and trainings for faculty and staff, and our victim survivor advocates are here to support staff and faculty members as well,” said Brittany Badger, director of the Center for Campus Wellness. “We hope this name change better communicates the scope of what we do and who we serve, which is the entire U community.”
