Academic Senate meeting

The next meeting of the Academic Senate is Monday, Feb. 5, from 3-5:30 p.m. The following items will be discussed, among others:

  • Prioritizing Open Access Publishing at the University of Utah
  • Senate Personnel and Elections Committee Updates on Spring 2024 Faculty Elections and Appointments
  • Proposal for a New Division of Public Affairs
  • Proposal for the Center of Pasifika and Indigenous Knowledges

The meeting will be held on the Zoom online meeting platform, and its agenda is available here. Senate meetings are public, and the University Community and others are welcome to attend. If you want to attend the Senate Zoom meeting, email a link request to the Secretary of the Senate Jane Laird (Jane.Laird@utah.edu) by Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024.
