This year’s Employee Appreciation Day (EAD) will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 10 am – 2 pm at Rice-Eccles Stadium. University of Utah, Huntsman Cancer Institute and U of U Health faculty and staff (including student staff) are invited to attend! Employees must bring their U card employee ID badge in order to enter the event; student employees without a Ucard should email EAD@utah.edu so employment can be verified and permission to attend be granted.
Volunteers needed
Volunteering at EAD is a great way to meet fellow U of U employees! Volunteers are asked to work one- to two-hour shifts and will receive a volunteer T-shirt. If your schedule allows for you to help at EAD, please click here to sign-up to volunteer. This sign-up form will close on Friday, August 18.

Virtual photo scavenger hunt
This year, all University of Utah, Huntsman Cancer Institute and U o f U Health faculty and staff (including student staff) are invited to participate in our virtual Employee Appreciation Day (EAD) photo scavenger hunt through Goosechase!
While all U of U employees are invited to play, this is a great opportunity for work-from-home/virtual, out-of-state or out-of-country employees to participate in EAD; it’s also a great chance for employees who can’t make it to the in-person EAD event to participate as well! This activity will be available to play during EAD Week: September 25 – 29, 2023.
We encourage you to check out our Goosechase website (CIS login required) to learn more about how Goosechase works and instructions on how to sign-up!
