Users will be unable to log in to many University of Utah and University of Utah Health IT services, applications and websites on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 8 to 8:30 p.m.
Users logged in before 8 p.m. should not experience access issues.
Affected IT services include:
- Canvas
- Campus Information Services (CIS)
- UBox
- Zoom
- Virtual private networks (VPNs)
- MyTime (UKG Pro Workforce Management)
- PeopleSoft and related student and faculty web apps
- IT Knowledge Base and Service Catalog, ServiceNow
This downtime is necessary to upgrade the affected university login services. The new login screen will be similar to the one used for Microsoft 365 and Adobe products.

To report issues after the maintenance event, open a “high” urgency ticket by calling the UIT Help Desk at 801-581-4000 or ITS Service Desk at 801-587-6000.
