From November 1-4, University Street will be closed to traffic and street parking between 300 South and 200 South. The road closure will allow the Applied Science construction team to remove the tower crane currently on the site. Starting Friday morning at 7:00 AM delivery and assembly of the equipment to assist in the removal will begin.
Roadway impacts
During this process, University Street will be closed to traffic and street parking between 300 South and 200 South. Residents will be allowed entrance to University Street during this time, as it is safe to do so. Access to Presidents Circle will remain open for vehicles throughout the closure. (See map “University Street Closure Detour Map” for vehicle reroute.)
Vehicles parked on the street will be towed as needed starting Friday morning at 7:00 AM thru Monday morning at 7:00 AM
Sidewalk impacts
All sidewalks outside of the construction fencing and road closure area will remain accessible for pedestrians. The sidewalk between 300 South and 200 South on the east side of University Street will be closed during this time.
