Oh, what a night!

Pioneer Theatre Company, the resident professional theatre company here on campus, kicks off its 2024-25 season with the highly anticipated Broadway hit, “Jersey Boys,” set to dazzle University of Utah audiences from Sept. 13-28. This Tony-Award-winning show premiered in 2004 at La Jolla Playhouse and went on to become one of Broadway’s longest-running productions. The show chronicles the rise of 1960s vocal group Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons from humble beginnings to international stardom.

“Jersey Boys” arranges memorable hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” to tell the band’s history. Relish the Jersey accents, comedic beats, and catchy tunes for a memorable date or night out with friends and enjoy PTC’s premiere of this musical.
