The Employee Assistance Program is available to academic campus and U of U Health academics employees and their family members at no cost. The EAP provides confidential counseling to assist with a variety of personal concerns, including stress, anxiety or depression, personal and emotional issues, marital, relationship and family counseling, grief or loss, substance abuse or other addictions.
For those who are enrolled in the Advantage Plan option and in need more support, a new online provider directory is now available with search criteria prompts to help you find a provider that best fits your needs. Mental health and substance use disorder benefits in the Advantage Plan option are managed through the Huntsman Mental Health Institute-Behavioral Health Network (HMHI-BHN). Employees enrolled in the Consumer Directed Health Plan option continue to use the Regence ValueCare provider network for mental health and substance use disorder assistance.
