NEW:

–  Construction began Feb. 8 for installation of pre-fab temporary offices for Commuter Services shuttle, enforcement and maintenance divisions. Expected to go until May 2.

ONGOING:

–   A portion of lot 87 will be closed to install temporary office buildings and is expected to be completed before commencement 2016. See map below.

Lot-87

–   Construction and renovation of the George Thomas Building, as it becomes the Crocker Science Center, has begun. The sidewalk to the north of the building is blocked off, pedestrians will be routed into a protected area outside of the fence. This project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2017.

–   Maintenance began on Jan. 29 on the east side of Kingsbury Hall. Construction members will be excavating the road in order to repair the main water break. The work was completed last week.

–    Electrical infrastructure-related work will be taking place on the north side of the Biology and Skaggs Biology buildings, as well as on Potter Street along the south side of Stilwell Field beginning Monday, Jan. 11. There will be limited access to the sidewalk and road.

–    The HYPR Mall, running east/west, has been reopened. The sidewalk between MBH and Sorenson Arts & Ed will remain closed during construction of a road to allow for an electric shuttle to cross through the middle of campus. The sidewalk is expected to open within the next couple of weeks. See map below for alternative route.
