The PIVOT Center connects U faculty inventors and the U’s resources with industry, entrepreneurs, investors, and Utah’s innovation ecosystem. PIVOT is responsible for all aspects of invention management, patent prosecution, licensing, start-up formation and support, equity management, and early-stage funding. The University of Utah was recently ranked second among large research universities for “innovation productivity impact.”
