Going to school and juggling a family can be hard. The Student Parent Support Center (SPSC) is here to help by offering quality child care and, for those who qualify, financial assistance to help pay for child care while they attend school. Other services that SPSC provides that are free to parenting students are Parent Night Out, Crimson Kids and a diaper bank.
You can learn more about the services offered by the SPSC during our upcoming Student Parent Week. Events include the following:
Tuesday, Sept. 17 | 10 a.m.
Story time with Dr. Lori McDonald the vice president of Student Affairs, and Jerry Basford the associate vice president of Students Affairs. They will be reading their favorite books aloud in the Family Reading Room on the third floor of the Marriott Library.
Wednesday, Sept. 18 | 10 a.m.
Games, bubbles and more on the side on the patio side of the Marriott Library
The SPSC is located in the Union building, room 280. Visit our office or check out our website childcare.utah.edu. We are here to support parenting students as they attend the University of Utah.
