The University of Utah is moving forward with its plans to build a new ballpark to replace the existing practice field on Guardsman Way. The team’s nearly three-decade partnership with the Salt Lake Bees to play at Smith’s Ballpark will expire when the Bees relocate to South Jordan.
The U is beginning the architectural design process and wants to ensure that the new ballpark aligns with the community’s character and interests. Please share your ideas and feedback for the design of the ballpark in one or both of the following ways:
- Complete a survey here before Nov. 15, 2023.
- Attend an open house at the Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center at 592 Guardsman Way on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Parking is available along Guardsman Way and in the lot across the street. Free J. Dawg hot dogs for the first 100 people!
