Registration open for Student Leadership Summit 2022

Student Leadership & Involvement (SLI) strives to provide involvement and leadership development opportunities for all students during their time at the U. While SLI is here to connect students to varying leadership opportunities and roles on campus, we are also here to offer a variety of in-house tools to facilitate the development of leadership skills regardless of where students may be in their leadership development journey.

One of the premier offerings is the annual Student Leadership Summit, a one day retreat where students get to participate in a series of guided conversations, engaging activities and this year’s keynote address from Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall. Mendenhall will share how her experience as a leader has helped her navigate positive social change.

The summit is open to the first 110 students who register by the priority deadline, Friday, Oct. 7. Registration is $20 and includes transportation to and from the Union Building to the Alta Peruvian Lodge, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and an amazing leadership development experience.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR THE FIRST 110 STUDENTS BY OCT. 7

This year’s Student Leadership Summit will be held at the Alta Peruvian Lodge in Little Cottonwood Canyon, on Saturday, October 29. Buses will depart at 8 a.m. to Little Cottonwood Canyon and will return at 6 p.m. Participants will spend most of the day engaging with a smaller cohort of students, led by a Staff SLS Facilitator.

Sponsorships and scholarships are available for students to pay the registration fee. The priority deadline to register is October 7 however, registration is on a first come first served basis, and we expect this event to sell out quickly! To register and for more information can be found here.
