According to a ranking from GradReports, the University of Utah ranks second in the state behind Utah Valley University for best bachelor’s degrees. The bachelor’s degree with the highest median salary at the U, the ranking says, is mining engineering in the College of Mines and Earth Sciences with a median salary of $79,000 and 95% of students employed after graduation. Mining engineering earned a salary score of 93 from GradReports, which compares median salary of mining alumni from the U to mining alumni at other schools in the country.
