Share your input on the U’s physical campus planning concepts

Thank you, campus community, for answering the call for input on the long-range University Physical Development Plan (UPDP). The planning team met with 600 people at open house events in March and almost 900 comments were provided online in the first stage of community outreach. The website has been updated to summarize all that we heard and share the preliminary “big ideas” that may shape the future of the University campus.

The “Concepts” phase of the planning is testing preliminary ideas that focus on the UPDP guiding principles:

Click on any of these links to review the drawings (multi-page PDF file) and add your comments and review those provided by others. Your input will help the Campus Planning team refine the ideas and develop the ultimate plan. The University Physical Development Plan (UPDP) will guide the next decade and beyond of campus development, preservation, innovation and sustainability. This plan will support the U’s long-term strategic growth and transformation plans.

We want to hear what is important to you as we plan for the next decade. Please join this effort by sharing your ideas and aspirations for campus. This stage of online engagement will be open through July. In addition to commenting on the draft plans, please add to the Idea Board to share any other ideas for how to make the university even better. Your input is critical to helping steward the University campus for the next decade!
