With over 26-degree program options to choose from, UOnline hosts a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and certificate offerings—most of which can be completed entirely online. These programs are built specifically for online delivery and are taught by U faculty who excel in their respective disciplines. Students can view lectures, read class materials, discuss topics, and complete assignments—all while working at any location around their schedule and responsibilities.
“What makes UOnline different is these programs are online on purpose. Unlike a lot of online experiences students may have had in the past, including during the pandemic, these programs are built specifically for online learners,” says Annie Friedman, Associate Director of UOnline Programs.
Students can enroll in UOnline programs from anywhere, including outside of Utah. Tuition for declared UOnline students is typically the same regardless of residency and students are not charged certain university fees.
Additionally, UOnline students have virtual access to university student services and resources including program advisors, the Career & Professional Development Center, the Graduate Writing Center, online library services, IT support, and more.
New UOnline programs that launched this fall were MS, Systems Engineering, Master of Engineering Management, and Master of Public Health: Health Equity Emphasis.
