Legacy Bridge vandalism impacts

The Legacy Bridge elevator, located at the west end of the bridge, was vandalized over the Labor Day weekend and is currently out of service.  Crews are working to assess the damage and repair the elevator to working order as soon as possible. Legacy Bridge remains open and accessible for pedestrians, bikes, and scooters.

Bikes & scooters

  • Use the west side stair runnels to push your device up or down the stairs, so you do not have to lift your device.  (Runnels are the grooved guides for wheels located next to the stairway)
  • Please be aware that riding on the stairs is prohibited due to safety issues and is a violation of University policy.

ADA Accommodations are available by requesting a SafeRide with Commuter Services
