It’s game time!

Entertainment Arts & Engineering shows off soon-to-be published student video games.

On April 26, 2019, the U’s Entertainment Arts & Engineering program held its annual EAE Launch event to showcase more than 25 games and medical and educational applications, including titles from graduating senior and master’s students that will be published this year.

Games include those created by EAE’s Therapeutic Games and Apps Lab (GApp Lab). In particular, the event highlighted “Drone Commander,” developed for the Utah Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration to help officials analyze future drone traffic in Salt Lake City, a metropolitan area that many officials believe will be one of the first to grow in drone traffic.
