Introducing U Service Corps

The U Service Corps ensures that a critical segment of the university’s student population has the support they need to graduate on time, with less debt, and increased career readiness. This opportunity will provide service oriented internships that connect capable, engaged students with Utah nonprofit organizations.

Students will learn relevant workplace skills while receiving course credit, intern 10 hours per week with partnered nonprofits, schools and public agencies, and earn $5,000 per semester in scholarship funds and wages ($18 per hour throughout the service term and scholarship each semester).

This new initiative joins a suite of signature internship and service programs offered by the Hinckley Institute of Politics, Bennion Center, and U Career Success that support students and serve our community.

Students with demonstrated need and who don’t have merit-based scholarships are eligible to apply. Applications for the Fall 2024 Semester are due May 15.
