Apply for a Fulbright scholarship

Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships

The Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships (ONCS) is pleased to announce that the Fulbright U.S. Student Program application window is officially open. This prestigious program enables students and alumni to complete postgraduate study, conduct research, or serve as English Teaching Assistants in countries around the world.

To support students and faculty in navigating these opportunities, ONCS is hosting two upcoming information sessions. These sessions will provide an overview of the Fulbright program as well as several other highly competitive scholarships, including UK-based programs like the Marshall, Rhodes, and Gates Cambridge, and the Schwarzman Scholarship for master’s degrees in China.

Upcoming information sessions

  • In-Person info session 

    • When: April 16th | 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

    • Where: Kahlert Village, Room 1324

    • Details: Lunch is provided!

  • Virtual info session

    • When: April 22nd | 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

    • Details: Registration is required. Students can register through the link in the @uofu_oncs Instagram bio.
