Dial-in audio conferencing for Microsoft Teams available starting Aug. 4

The feature will also be available for Skype for Business Online users until the university finishes its migration to Microsoft Teams and retires the Skype for Business application.

The University of Utah is pleased to announce that Office 365 Audio Conferencing for Microsoft Teams will be available starting late today, Aug. 4, 2021. The feature, which is included in the recent renewal of the university’s Microsoft Campus Agreement, will enable University of Utah and University of Utah Health users and external meeting participants to join a Microsoft Teams meeting by phone.

The feature will also be available for Skype for Business Online users until the university finishes its migration to Microsoft Teams and retires the Skype for Business application.

Users will receive an email from Microsoft Audio Conferencing with their account ID (UMail address), conference phone number, and PIN. While users may share their conference phone number, users should not share their PINs.
