Honoring the director of Fraternity and Sorority Life

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Jess Turuc, director of Fraternity and Sorority Life on campus, was honored with the Sue Kraft Fussell Distinguished Service Award by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA). The Sue Kraft Fussell Distinguished Service awards are presented to no more than five members of the association each year. As a volunteer with AFA, Turuc currently serves as a program facilitator for First 90 Days.  At the University of Utah, she has been key in building a coalition with other Pac-12 fraternity and sorority professionals. She has launched several fundraising campaigns including a sophomore leadership retreat, full sponsorship of Centennial SongFest performance and creation of an endowed scholarship for council officers.
