With the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on schools and child care programs, many parents are finding it difficult to balance work/school and family needs. To help faculty, staff, and students, the Center for Child Care and Family Resources has established a webpage dedicated to helping parents find the resources they need.

Some of the resources include:

• A listing of subsidized school-age child care programs that will provide a sliding-fee scale for elementary age children when they are not in school.
• UMatch – an electronic listing of university affiliated people who are willing to provide short-term babysitting, tutoring, or pet care.
• Online tutoring services
• Sign-up for a virtual child care consult/referral to help with locating child care, using the resource sites, finding ways to pay for child care, etc.
