University of Utah launches 2026 Healthy Minds Survey

Have you received an email invitation to take the “Healthy Minds Survey” and aren’t sure what it is or why it’s important?

The University of Utah is inviting students to share their experiences with mental health and well-being through the Healthy Minds Survey, open now through April 22.

The survey covers key aspects of student life, including stress, sense of belonging, access to care, academic pressure and overall well-being. Results help identify gaps in services, reduce barriers to support and guide future investments in student resources.

Student voices are key to building a stronger culture of care on campus and directly influence how the university improves mental health resources, support services and policies. Participation is especially important for students who may face additional challenges accessing support—such as graduate and professional students, international students, students with disabilities and those balancing work, caregiving or financial stress.

Students can find their survey invitation in their UMail. The survey is confidential and takes only a few minutes to complete.
