A new smartphone app pulls together all the essential components of life on the University of Utah’s campus.
The OneU app, created by Stenaverse, launched this fall to be a one-stop tool for all things U.
“This is an exciting moment on our campus,” said Jeff Labrum, chief operating officer. “With this app, we are closer now to achieving the president’s vision for a technology strategy that provides personalized information and a better experience for every member of our campus community.”
An aggregating app, One U provides fingertip connections to websites and apps:
- CIS
- @theU
- U Alumni
- U of U Health
- U Belong
- U 360
- Navigate U
- Campus Maps
Students, faculty and staff who download the app can tailor their profiles for eventual custom content, including campus events and personalized news feeds.
The One U app also exclusively connects to new premium WiFi added to Rice-Eccles stadium in time for this season’s opening game. Also, you can compete for exclusive access and one-of-a-kind prizes—all while helping to build the most connected fan base in the country!
