Health Sciences Education Building, Alumni Hall, Room 2100
Healthi4U is an innovative new competitive program for interdisciplinary student teams at the University of Utah. The goal of this video competition is to create engaging and informative videos related to health.

The competition is open to all full-time, matriculated University of Utah undergraduate and graduate students. Teams will be comprised of students from a variety of majors. Visit our website for more information. You can also follow us on Twitter with #Healthi4U.

The Kick-off event will take place on September 10 from 5-7 p.m. in the Health Sciences Education Building Alumni Hall, Room 2100. All are invited to participate. The kickoff will provide details about the program and help students find partners to team up.

Monetary awards will be provided to the winning videos. Winners may also be aired on UEN-TV Channel 9 and featured on SciTech Now.

This competition is generously funded by the Nancy Eccles and Homer M. Hayward Family Foundation, and is coordinated by the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library and a team of university faculty.

UtahPresents is hosting TEDxSaltLakeCity here at Kingsbury Hall on Sat, Sept. 19. The general public tickets are sold out, but there are 300 tickets reserved for U students for just $5 per ticket (does not include lunch).

Some of these tickets have sold, but there are still quite a lot left. Students must be full-time and have to buy tickets in person with their UCard. UCard is also required with ticket for entrance to the event.
