Zoom web interface change on Aug. 26

Zoom will update the user interface for the utah.zoom.us web portal on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026.

Users can preview the new interface in their University of Utah Zoom web account by opening their account settings and selecting a toggle labeled “Try new experience.”

Using the new interface is optional until the change goes live across university Zoom web accounts on Aug. 26. Users are not required to update their applications or change their account settings.

This change does not affect the Zoom desktop application.
