U Athletics suspending practices indefinitely amid coronavirus concerns

In alignment with Pac-12 Conference members, all Utah Athletics team practices and organized athletic activities will be suspended for an indefinite period of time.

Kristen Ries to receive honorary degree at 2020 commencement

Ries was president of the medical staff for the University of Utah Hospital & Clinics and served as the clinical director of infectious diseases/HIV at U of U Health.

U arts, museums and COVID-19

Performances, screenings, exhibitions, events and shows will not take place for the remainder of the semester.

Learning Abroad, trips and Continuing Education cancellations

The university has suspended all university-affiliated student programs and travel in international locations through the end of Summer Term 2020
