MEET THE GRADUATES: CLASS OF 2016

Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, we’ll profile graduates from across the university.

DALAI LAMA TICKETS

The Dalai Lama has rescheduled his visit to the University of Utah and will speak Tuesday, June 21. Tickets for U students, faculty and staff go on sale Friday, April 1, at 10 a.m.

WHEN HIP-HOP MEETS ACADEMIA

U students explore history, socio-political issues from a hip-hop perspective. History of Hip-Hop class offered again this summer in a one-week intensive format.

CONSEQUENCES OF INEQUALITY

The Scholars Strategy Network and the U’s Department of Political Science explore that question in “Unequal Voices: The Politics of Inequality” at Hinckley Institute of Politics and City Library on March 31.
