Updates to the campus shuttle system

Commuter Services is introducing changes to the campus shuttle system that will better serve students, faculty, staff and visitors traveling throughout campus during evening hours.

As part of these updates, the Research Park Connector route will be discontinued and replaced with a new route, the Crimson route. The change reflects an ongoing effort to provide transportation options that align with current rider needs and campus travel patterns.

Crimson route

The Crimson route will operate Monday through Friday from 6-10 p.m., running every 20 minutes. The new route connects major destinations across campus, including student housing communities, academic buildings, the Health Sciences area and nearby transit connections. Stops along the route provide convenient access to locations such as Kahlert Village, Lassonde Studios, the Union, the University Guest House area, University Hospital and more. For a full list of shuttle stops, please see the map below.

Riders who previously used the Research Park Connector route are encouraged to review the new Crimson route map and identify their nearest stops before traveling.

Other shuttle routes

In addition to the discontinuation of the Research Park Connector and the new Crimson route, Commuter Services continues to operate the following routes to serve the campus community:

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Orange
  • Circulator
  • HMHI
  • Wasatch Express
  • Shoreline-Hospital
