LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE: EARTH

By Brianna Milot, Environmental & Sustainability Studies major

Curious about trees? Join Tree Campus on a tree tour. Hoping to get your hands earthy? Volunteer with the Edible Campus Gardens. Passionate about bees? Learn more with the University of Utah’s Beekeepers Association.

Earth Week will feature an array of food, events, and volunteer opportunities. Each event offers a window into the many diverse sustainability efforts happening across campus. Take the time to get to know student groups, community organizations and other campus members working hard to make a difference.

Sustainability relies on the innovation and passion of a community. Earth Week connects organizations and departments across campus, making sustainability something that everyone on campus can participate in. Sustainability isn’t limited to a specific field, career or department. Learn more about this significant topic at Earth Week, but apply the principles across a lifetime.

Earth Week is hosted by ASUU, the Sustainability Office and other student groups on campus.
