October is LGBTQ+ History Month, a time to recognize the history, culture and contributions of communities that celebrate self-expression and authenticity to its fullest! At the University of Utah, a variety of events throughout the month provide opportunities for education, connection and celebration.
This year’s campus theme, “Taking Pride in Our Joy!”, highlights the importance of joy as a form of strength and community building. The month’s events are organized by the Center for Community and Cultural Engagement (CCE) and are open to all students, faculty, staff and community members.
