WellU Requirements to Complete Now

The requirements for participation during the next plan year have been released. See the HR webpage here for requirements and eligible wellness activities.   

Fifty-two percent of employees enrolled in the University’s Health Care Plan completed the requirements to participate in the WellU wellness program this year. To save $480 on your health plans premiums next plan year (beginning July 1, 2018), complete the WellU requirements now.  Requirements must be completed prior to July 1, 2018.

Completions must be reported through the health care plan or community partner.  Employees are encouraged to complete the requirements as soon as possible to avoid a delay in receiving the discount.  Requirements completed at the end of the plan year are often not reported in time for the discount to begin on the July 22 paycheck. The discount begins when timely completion of all requirements has been reported – it is not retroactive. 

Schedule your appointments as soon as possible to make sure you receive the discount for the entire plan year.

Try Out Virtual Visits for Free

Virtual Visits is available 365 days a year from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for non-urgent illnesses and injuries. From now until June 30, 2018, employees enrolled in a health plan through the University of Utah and their enrolled family members can use Virtual Visits without paying the usual $5 copay. You can receive care from home, the office or wherever you are.
