HAVE A MAINTENANCE ISSUE?

Facilities Management recently restructured in an effort to provide better service to campus. Check the new district map to find your representative.

By Facilities Management

In an effort to be closer to our customers and improve and enhance building operation and maintenance, Facility Operations is now serving campus in districts.

Previously, facilities maintenance and operations work across campus was centralized. Now, there is a dedicated group of technicians and managers assigned to each of the six districts resulting in a more efficient response, better communications and the ability to rapidly build the technical knowledge base for each area.

FacilitiesDepts24“We’ve made this transition in service to partner more closely with individuals across campus and to better know the programming, teaching and research needs of the buildings,” said Cory Higgins, executive director of Facility and Construction Operations. “That understanding and those relationships help us in everything from cleaning, to small repairs, to large renovations.”

Part of improving our service is understanding how we are doing. If you’ve received service from Facilities in the last year, please take a moment and complete our very short survey.

Anyone can request service or maintenance. See a light out? Too hot, too cold? Put in a customer request when you see issues that need to be addressed. Campus community members can place service requests online through CIS under the Facility Operations menu item. If your item is a billable service, please have a chartfield ready. For a facilities-related concern that requires immediate response, call 801-581-7221.

Facilities Management is committed to greater responsiveness and excellent service and is honored to serve as stewards of campus.
