The U is excited to welcome FOX Big Noon Saturday activities to campus on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
The campus will host the FOX Big Noon Kickoff show prior to the Big Noon Saturday national TV coverage of the Big 12 conference matchup of the Utah Utes and Texas Tech University. Activities relating to the event will begin on campus on Friday evening, September 19.
No overnight camping will be allowed on campus.
Details of weekend event times are as follows:
Friday, 6 p.m.
- The Guardsman Way Tailgate Lot (Lot 40) will open at 6 p.m. Friday for tailgate permit-holders.
Friday, 8 p.m.
- The East Stadium Tailgate Lot (Lot 9) will open at 8 p.m. Friday for tailgate permit-holders.
Saturday, 4 a.m.
- Guardsman Way will close to through traffic.
- Students and fans are allowed to begin lining up to enter the Big Noon Kickoff viewing area at the southwest corner of Guardsman Way and 500 South, next to the Smith’s Ultimate Tailgate Experience. Admission to the viewing area is free and all community members are invited to attend.
Saturday, 5 a.m.
- Lots 2, 5 and 8 will open. Parking Map
Saturday, 6 a.m.
- All other parking lots will open. Parking Map
Saturday, 7 a.m.
- The Barstool College Football Show beginning at 7 a.m. from Ute Village at the southwest corner of Guardsman Way and 500 South, next to the Smith’s Ultimate Tailgate Experience.
Saturday, 8-10 a.m.
- The FOX Big Noon Kickoff will broadcast live from Ute Village at the southwest corner of Guardsman Way and 500 South, next to the Smith’s Ultimate Tailgate Experience.
Saturday, 10 a.m.
- FOX Big Noon Saturday game and coverage begins at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The U is encouraging any fans without assigned parking passes to take public transit to campus.
