Vice Presidential Debate Campus Shuttle Impacts 

In preparation for the Vice Presidential debate, the Circulator and Blue routes will not stop at President Circle from Wednesday, Sept. 16 to Thursday, Oct. 8. Shuttle passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the UTA bus stops on University Street from Wednesday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 25.

New Public Safety Building at Guardsman Lot

The new Public Safety Building will be built on the northeast side of the Guardsman Lot. Approximately 140 stalls in the Guardsman Lot will be permanently eliminated in order to accommodate the space needed to construct the new building. Construction will begin later this year and will end in 2022.

Mario Capecchi Drive & North Medical Drive intersection expansion

Construction for the expansion of the Mario Capecchi Drive and North Medical Drive intersection will begin mid-September 2020. Motorists traveling east on Mario Capecchi Drive towards the hospital can expect delays and other road disruption for at least 18 months.

UTA returning to Regular Services  

UTA reduced, modified, or suspended multiple routes as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning August 23, 2020, UTA will resume regular services, which includes increasing TRAX frequency to every 15 minutes.
