Work has begun to build a temporary Circle of Hope Drive that will remain in place until 2022. This solution will keep vehicle access open to the front door of the Huntsman Cancer Institute, including hospital and research building entrances. Shuttle service will not be restricted due to construction. Construction of this temporary road will take 8-12 weeks to complete.
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, daytime paving of the upper area of the new temporary road on Circle of Hope Drive will occur. No reduction in lanes will take place, with two lanes remaining open during the day. See map below:
Night-time paving at the top and bottom of the hill on Circle of Hope Drive will occur starting Tuesday, March 24 after 6 PM and overnight. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers in-place to guide traffic. See map below:
