More Ute gear in more places

Big news for Ute fans: You’re about to see a lot more red in the aisles of your favorite stores. The University of Utah has teamed up with two national partners to make it easier than ever to find officially licensed Utes apparel and headwear at major retailers across the country.

On the apparel side, the U is expanding its partnership with Unrivaled Teamwear, a longtime leader in collegiate merchandise. That means more variety, fresh designs and dependable availability at spots like Walmart, Target, Costco and Sam’s Club. Whether you’re stocking up for game day or just want to rep your Utah pride on the daily, Unrivaled is helping make sure Ute gear is easy to find and affordable.

“Unrivaled has been a trusted partner of collegiate programs for decades, and we are excited to strengthen our relationship with them as they help expand the reach of Utah Athletics and the Utes brand in the mass marketplace,” said Richard Fairchild, associate director of Trademarks & Licensing at the University of Utah.

Headwear is also getting an upgrade thanks to a new partnership with Image One. Beyond just selling caps, Image One is teaming up with students to bring hands-on learning into the process. From internships to real-world projects in design and retail analytics, Utah students will play a role in creating products that feel true to our campus culture. And with faster restocks and Utah-centric designs, fans can expect to see hats that are both timely and uniquely ours.

“This partnership is about culture and students, not just caps,” said Jenn Reed, senior associate vice president, Auxiliary Services. “Image One will co-create with our campus—bringing internships, hands-on learning and data literacy into the process—so our fans see Utah’s identity reflected authentically at retail.”

Both partnerships highlight the university’s commitment to brand stewardship, student opportunities and expanding access to quality Ute merchandise. With Unrivaled Teamwear driving apparel and Image One leading in headwear, fans can expect to find a wider, Utah-centric selection of officially licensed products across the country.
