How fast can a team build an intricate Lego model under pressure? Find out at the first-ever Lego Brix Speed Building Competition, hosted by the University Counseling Center on March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Union Saltair Room.
Sponsored by L3Harris, The Leonardo and the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering, this event will bring together 12 student teams as they race to construct the NASA Artemis Space Launch System (SLS) Lego model as quickly and accurately as possible.
Building with Legos is more than just a fun challenge—it engages both sides of the brain, enhancing problem-solving skills, creativity and focus. Through this competition, the University Counseling Center aims to promote cognitive function, reduce stress and foster teamwork, all of which contribute to overall well-being.
This free event is open to students, faculty and staff. Watch the action and cheer on your favorite team.
