With fall semester just around the corner, the Ken Garff University Club is opening its doors to University of Utah faculty and staff for Last Call Before Football, the club’s largest prospective member event of the year.
If your college, department or staff need space to meet, eat or strategize this coming school year, the Ken Garff University Club could be the place. Discounted individual and team memberships are available to the U community.
To learn more, stop by the club on Thursday, Aug. 28 from 6-8 p.m. Faculty and staff (along with anyone else interested in joining) can experience the private social club, meet the club team and learn more about membership.
The Ken Garff University Club brings together faculty, staff, Utah fans, alumni and business leaders for social events, dining and exclusive experiences throughout the year.
Event registration is only $5 and attendees will receive:
- Appetizers
- One cocktail or mocktail ticket and access to a full-service cash bar
- Live entertainment
- Photo opportunities
- Guided tours of the club
- Information about membership options and benefits
Faculty and staff who decide to join during the event can also take advantage of special membership offers, including a $50 initiation fee (normally $200), no dues until Oct. 1 and a swag bag for new Base and XLife members.
Attendees also can participate in a raffle by completing the event’s Playbook. Prizes include a signed football, signed helmet, tickets to the home opener, dining credits, a month of free dues, a complimentary member event, a chef’s dinner for four and more. Attendees must be present to win.
The event is for prospective members only, and space is limited.
