Why does success start here at the J. Willard Marriott Library? Fall Fest is the best way to learn all the reasons the library sets students up for a successful semester, and now it’s happening even earlier in the semester. To reach incoming students, both new and transfer, faster, Fall Fest will now take place on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fall Fest is an annual event where the library features all its services, technologies and—most importantly—its people. “Whether it’s learning about which librarian is your subject specialist for your major or enjoying the free food on offer, Fall Fest is sure to have something for everyone,” explained Jordan Hanzon, marketing and PR account executive at the library. “There will also be an opportunity for students to win a new Nintendo Switch 2 by interacting and learning from the various library tables available at the event.”
Look forward to:
- An opportunity to win a Nintendo Switch 2
- Library staff who are ready to share how the library can help
- Free food throughout the event, including donuts and pizza
- Seeing the beautiful library space
The event is open to all current students at the University of Utah and drop-in attendance is encouraged as food drops will happen throughout.
