This is the only summer camp where campers make synthetic snot, tour a wildlife area usually closed to the public and record their work in a real professional studio with a real production team—all guided by a teacher and Disneyland educator who’s spent 20 years making science irresistible.
STEAM@Stark Summer Camp is a Monday-Friday day camp for kids 10-14. STEAM@Stark comes from the team behind learn.genetics.utah.edu, a site used by millions of students worldwide for more than 30 years.
Campers can choose from the following:
June 22-26
Genetic Survivor
Do you have what it takes to survive a Vampire Apocalypse or raging Lawnmower Bots? Let’s design something nature-inspired that will.
July 6-10
Brains and Biotech
Do synthetic snot, engineering projects, neurorobotics and puzzle-solving intrigue you? Come explore, design and geek out with us.
July 27-31
Chemistry Magic
Marvel at the magic of the chemistry surrounding us. Let’s mix, measure, react, experiment and crack the code of the periodic table.
University of Utah faculty, staff and students receive a 10% discount. Also, multi-camp and sibling discounts are available.
