The University of Utah’s Office of Artificial Intelligence is hosting a campus-wide training open to all students, faculty and staff for use of the OpenAI tool ChatGPT Edu. Last month, the U launched the platform to help the campus community use generative AI effectively, responsibly and safely.

Important prep for attendees
To follow along in real time, we recommend that participants set up their ChatGPT Edu account a few days in advance.
- Request access via the IT Service Catalog.
- Users will receive an email with login instructions
- We recommend logging in using “umail.utah.edu”
