Join Red Butte Garden and Arboretum’s third annual summertime event, Blooming with Pride, on Friday, June 12, from 12-7 p.m.
Spend the day surrounded by color, plants and community as the garden comes alive with art, immersive experiences and opportunities to celebrate the beauty found in nature and the strength we find when we come together.
One of the event’s highlights is a showcase of living floral art installations created by seven local artists, florists and horticulturists, all inspired by this year’s theme, “Rooted Together.” Each installation reflects how gardens—like communities—are strongest when diverse plants grow side by side, creating something more vibrant together than they could alone.
During the event, guests can also engage in family-friendly activities, including nature-based craft projects, a community art project and a self-guided nature walk. The garden’s courtyard will transform into a Unity Hub tabling space featuring local organizations that support and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.
