Academic Senate meeting on Sept. 29

Academic Senate -

The next Academic Senate meeting is Monday, Sept. 29, from 3-5:30 p.m. The Academic Senate is a body of elected students and faculty that reviews and discusses matters of academic significance at the University of Utah. The following items will be presented, among others:

  • A new proposed center:  Virtual Skills & Workforce Trainer Service Center
  • The College of Humanities and the School for Cultural & Social Transformation reorganization
  • A Professional Master of Materials Engineering and Management program proposal
  • Reports from the administration, the University of Utah Staff Council and ASUU

The meeting will be held on the Zoom online meeting platform; click here to view the agenda. Senate meetings are open to the public and the university community and others are welcome to participate. If you would like to attend the Senate Zoom meeting, email a link request to the Secretary of the Senate, Jane Laird, at jane.laird@utah.edu by Thursday, Sept. 25.
