Academic Senate meeting on August 25

The first Academic Senate meeting of the year is Monday, Aug. 25, from 3-5:30 p.m. The Academic Senate is a body of elected students and faculty that reviews and discusses matters of academic significance at the University of Utah. The following items will be presented, among others:

  • The annual Academic Senate orientation materials and video link
  • Annual Appointments for Senate Leadership: Parliamentarian and Policy Liaison
  • A proposed minor in Business Artificial Intelligence
  • A proposed new Center for Education, Well-being, and School-Based Health Partnerships
  • Report from the University of Utah administration

The meeting will be held on the Zoom online meeting platform; click here to view the agenda. Senate meetings are open to the public and the university community and others are welcome to participate.
